Robertshaw uses several measurement technologies to monitor fluid level in storage tanks. Each tank monitor type can be chosen to provide the best performance for the application, since no single technology can handle all applications. Tank information is communicated to the Centeron Data Center via phone landline, the Aeris Cellular network or the Orbcomm satellite system to provide remote tank monitoring solutions for any location.

	Digital Cellular Pressure Monitor The Centeron Digital Cellular Pressure Monitor measures and reports the inventory status of product in remote storage tanks. It’s battery-powered and completely wireless. Effective even in harsh environments, the monitor features a custom-designed internal antenna that is protected from damage by the enclosure.

	Radar Monitor The Centeron Radar Monitor measures the time required for a radar pulse to travel from the monitor to the liquid surface and return. The elapsed time is a measure of tank level. The tank environment does not affect the technology, so the radar monitor is an excellent choice for a wide range of applications.
	Ultrasonic Monitor The Centeron Ultrasonic Monitor measures the time required for a sonic wave to travel from the monitor to the liquid surface and return. The elapsed time is a measure of tank level. The Ultrasonic Monitor is compact and easy to install. Its non-contact technology is suitable for a wide variety of fluid applications where contact with the fluid by the sensor is not acceptable.
	Pressure Monitor The Centeron Pressure Monitor is a simple, cost-effective way to accurately measure fluid level in large vessels. The pressure monitor measures the hydrostatic pressure at the bottom of the storage tank, which is directly related to tank level. Pressure Monitors are available for a wide variety of fluid applications.
	Float Monitor The Centeron Float Monitor is a cost effective way to remotely monitor small to medium sized tanks that contain a variety of fluids. A reliable Hall effect sensor measures float position for long term, low maintenance performance.
	4-20 mA Monitor The 4-20mA Monitor can be connected to a wide variety of 4-20mA sensors including temperature, pressure, level, and flow. It can be connected to previously installed sensors for instant remote monitoring capability.
	Centeron WebView for Underground Tank Monitoring Centeron WebView now has the ability to interface with previously installed, third party underground tank monitoring equipment and display tank inventory level on the Centeron Data Center. This added feature lets you remotely view the inventory status of all your tanks, above ground and underground, at one time in one location for more effective planning of your product needs.
